Am I Really Making a Difference? 🤔 Have you ever wondered if what you're doing is truly adding value to others' lives? I recently found myself asking this question after an incredible experience. I had the opportunity to connect with a group of investors to discuss mutual funds. I poured my heart into preparing and delivering the best presentation possible. To my surprise, the response was overwhelming, one investor even traveled 200 kilometers just so that he could meet our team and attend the session! 🚗 I also received some wonderful LinkedIn recommendations after the session, which felt incredibly rewarding. But even amidst this positivity, I couldn’t help but reflect: Are my skills in this industry impactful enough? Do people genuinely enjoy these sessions? Am I truly helping them in their financial journeys? And, am I a good public speaker who can educate and inspire? These questions drive me to improve, learn, and ensure my sessions truly empower people to make better financial decisions. If you’ve attended one of my sessions or have insights on what makes such events meaningful, I’d love to hear your thoughts! #MutualFunds #FinancialEducation #PublicSpeaking #PersonalGrowth

Before you buy more gold, read what SBI Mutual Fund’s CIO: Mr. R Srinivasan said about it. The conversation started exactly where everyone’s attention is these days: GOLD It’s rising fast and investors can’t stop asking: Should I buy more? He thinks: Gold has given great returns, but you should keep your exposure limited. And then he explained why. Gold doesn’t innovate. It doesn’t grow like a company and doesn’t have a fundamental value like any company / sector. It generally shoots up when things go wrong in the world like wars or uncertainty. 📊 Equity, on the other hand, creates value. He’s bullish on Indian equities.. believes the next few years will be big for India. He did mention that a dip might come (it always does), but he added - every dip is an opportunity, not a reason to panic. 💰 His track record backs it up. After 2020, he launched the Children’s Fund. Today, it’s over ₹44. That’s 4× growth, even when the market itself didn’t grow that much. He specializes in small and midcap funds and he’s been with SBI since 2009 and is actively handling more than ₹95,000 crores. He also shared a personal story. His wife has been buying gold jewellery for years through jeweller schemes.. building a solid collection. Now that prices have shot up, she proudly says, See? I told you gold was a good investment! He laughed and said, If she had invested with me, she’d have made even more. But he wasn’t dismissing gold completely. He said: If you really want to invest in gold, do it digitally rather than buying jewellery. When you buy physical gold, you pay making charges and GST, which reduce your returns. Digital gold, on the other hand, lets you hold gold digitally without those extra costs. On silver, he said: While considering commodities, you can also look at silver, it’s doing well. It hasn’t outperformed gold yet, but it might catch up in the future. For now, if you’re betting on precious metals, gold is still the stronger choice. 🌍 On Trump & the global market: He was quite skeptical about Trump’s decision to keep printing dollars. Normally, when any country prints excessive money, its currency weakens. But since the world trades mostly in USD, the dollar’s importance still stays high. Even then, he said.. it’s a matter of concern worth watching closely. 🔥 Final takeaway: He invests entirely in equity because that’s where he believes real wealth is built. And his advice was simple: Equity pe bullish rahiye. Indian markets have a long way to go. #RSrinivasan SBI MUTUAL FUND

Aayush BadadeMarkets, Mutual Funds & Bonds - Explained Without the Headache
Most people expect boardroom meetings with fund managers to be intimidating. Yesterday, I discovered the opposite. I had the chance to sit down with the Managing Director of Neo Asset Management Devina Khanna and Mr. Nitin Agarwal, Head of Private Equity. What I expected to be a formal, numbers-heavy session turned into one of the most insightful and approachable conversations I’ve had in finance. It was an enriching experience. Here’s why: - We discussed private equities and alternative investment funds (AIFs), and I got a closer look at the secondary funds that are about to launch. - One key point that stood out: for Indian investors, the target returns should not be less than 19%, whereas foreign investors face slightly lower numbers due to currency risk. - In just 3 years, Neo Asset Management has already oversubscribed multiple funds, a clear sign of performance and trust. But beyond numbers, what impressed me the most was the approachability of leadership. Despite being at such a senior level, the MD answered every question, highlighted both opportunities and risks and explained who AIFs are best suited for. Rarely do you find such humility paired with such deep industry expertise. My takeaway from the meeting: Numbers can attract investors, but transparency and humility are what truly win long-term trust. Neo Asset Management Pvt. Ltd. Neo Wealth and Asset Management
