Exams at Delhi University: A Torture Tale Nobody Talks About
Let’s rewind to my very first semester.
I stepped out after finishing my exam, only to find my wallet missing from my bag which, like everyone else’s, was placed outside the classroom. Something told me to check the washroom, and there it was lying on top of the dustbin, EMPTY. ₹3000 gone.
I reported it, hoping at least the CCTV footage would help. But guess what? Half the cameras weren’t even working. The response from faculty?
“Who even carries that much cash?”
This was supposed to be a safe learning environment.
Fast forward to later semesters, this time, I fought to keep my bag inside the exam hall. I had learned my lesson.
But just when I thought things couldn’t get worse, my name was missing from the attendance list for my Semester 4 DSC exam. Not just me, 50 other students were in the same boat.
And this is Delhi University. A renowned institution.
More chaos followed -
Multiple subject students crammed into one room
Teachers taking forever to distribute question papers
And the cherry on top? Loud conversations by invigilators while we’re trying to write exams.
Silence is the bare minimum, right?
I’ve never seen such mismanagement at this scale, and this needs to be talked about.
To every student who's been through the same, you’re not alone. And to the system, please do better.

At 19, I’ve tried a lot of things.
Passed exams after studying for less than 2 days, with a decent CGPA :).
Hosted college events.
Took interviews of people twice my age.
Cracked most interviews. Messed up a few too.
Travelled solo, nationally and internationally.
Spoke in front of 300+ people, and my speech woke them up (literally).
Got selected for 2 foreign programs.
Started a business.
Freelanced.
Worked with 2 top content creators.
Managed a team of 20+ people.
But here’s what I’ve really learned:
Balance is the key.
Because beyond all of this, I still showed up for 6am swims.
Did Garba like my life depended on it?
Stayed updated on every Netflix drop.
And said yes to parties, random plans, and being present.
It’s easy to glorify the hustle.
But what makes it sustainable is the art of switching lanes between chaos and calm, work and play, building and just being.
You don’t need to pick one over the other.
You just need to learn how to hold both.

10 internships. 2 years. And finally, some real clarity, all with reputed startups, creators, and global programs.
From exploring multiple fields to working with early-stage startups, content creators, and founder-led teams. This journey helped me figure out what I actually want.
Along the way, I recently also got selected to attend an Oxford Summer Courses and Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) 2025, experiences that expanded my mindset, network, and confidence like never before.
Until now, my feed has mostly been about my wins but it’s time to give back.
If you're:
✔️ struggling to find the right internships
✔️ unsure where to look beyond the usual platforms
✔️ hoping to land opportunities with fast-growing, founder-led teams...
I’ve got you.
Drop a "💌" in the comments, and I’ll send you some tips that helped me achieve all of it.
Let’s connect (DMs get buried otherwise) and build together

Hanuman ji has always been a symbol of strength, devotion and resilience.
But for Gen Z, the way we consume stories has changed.
We’re not just read...
After working in the Founder's Office with 3 of India's top creators, here's what I learned:
There's no job description. And that's exactly the point...
Writing > Notes. Always.
There’s something deeply powerful about physically writing things down.
In a world full of endless notifications, voice not...
