In the current time, Getting an interview is even harder than cracking it
Yes it’s True
If you are college students or freshers then this my advice to get interview calls
Customize each application
Don't send the same resume everywhere. Match it to the job posting.
Use connections
Most jobs come through networking, not online applications. Ask friends, family, alumni for help.
Show your work
Build projects, portfolios, or anything that proves your skills beyond grades.
Follow up with recruiters
Send a polite email 1-2 weeks after applying to show you're still interested.
Be active online not on Instagram 😅
LinkedIn, industry events, company social media - get visible where employers look.
The hardest part isn't the interview anymore it's getting someone to notice you in the first place.
Best of luck

POV: You’ve graduated, got placed, earning 6-7 figures…
Priorities checklist:
✅ MacBook Pro (because “productivity”)
✅ Gaming setup (because “work-life balance”)
✅ Multiple monitors (because “efficiency”)
❌ Proper bed (because “next month pakka”)
2 years later…
Still explaining to mom why the gaming chair was more important than a bed frame
Tag that friend who has a ₹2L setup but sleeps like they’re camping indoors! 😂
What was your most questionable investment priority as a corporate guy

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.
Recently, we received two resumes for a data science position, and both the candidates had similar educational background and experience.
Both were from Data Analysis background, so it looked like a tough call to decide which one is better.
But our recruitment team immediately called the candidate with the better resume!
That is the reality most working professionals ignore.
When I looked at the resumes, here’s what I observed in the selected resume👇
✅ 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘂𝗽𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 - SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel hit the eye in the first 5 seconds.
✅ 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 > 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 - Didn’t just say what he did. Said why it mattered.
✅ 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯 - Aligned his projects and skills with what the role demanded.
✅ 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝗽 - Quantified wherever possible
For example, % increase, time saved, revenue impact - adds credibility.
But to be honest, a strong resume only works if your skills are real.
You can’t write what you can’t defend in an interview.
So, learn skills from a place that has a structured curriculum, credibility and most importantly help you build the right resumes.
And one such place is Bosscoder Academy.
