Swiggy bhai explain karo.
Same restaurant. Same item. Same time. Same address. Different order value.
44 rupees difference. Same order. Two different phones. No reason. No explanation.
Now 44 rupees is not the point. The point is that moment when your customer goes "wait... something feels off."
That moment is where trust breaks.
Not through bad service. Not through late delivery. Through small inconsistencies that make people screenshot and post.
Like I just did. Swiggy I still love you. But my friend is switching apps. 👇
My manager left last week and I didn't realise how much I'd miss him until the chai break felt wrong without him.
He was the most GenZ coded AVP I've ever worked with. Chill. Fun. Never made work feel like a burden.
But here's what I actually took from working with him:
1. Be patient. With people. With situations. With yourself.
2. Team comes before work. Always. A task can wait. A person cannot.
3. Speak when the time is right. Not every moment needs a reaction.
4. And if something bothers you go to that person directly. No assumptions. Just a conversation.
These sound simple ngl but most people spend years not figuring this out.
But honestly? The thing I'll miss the most is not the advice.
It's deciding which biscuit to eat at chai break and the absolutely unhinged reasons we came up with.
And thank you for making me learn the trendiest short forms. Truly an important life skill.
Good luck Arjun Pai. I have switched to coffee now🙂
