I used to think using complex words meant the writing was better.
For a long time, I believed this.
I do not remember exactly how that belief changed, but with time, it did. Thankfully.
Now, when I see a post full of heavy vocabulary, I start wondering whether the words are natural or forced.
I rarely slow down to read it.
I move on.
Most people read like this online. They skim.
They are not looking up every word while scrolling.
We assume that if we put more effort into writing something, readers will put more effort into understanding it.
They usually don’t.
Now I think good writing makes things clear.
Effortless for the reader to understand.

I used to think my cousins in metro cities were lucky.
They could live at home and study in top colleges. They never had to choose between home and opportunity. From where I grew up, that looked like an advantage.
Then I noticed something I had never thought about before.
When people wake up in the morning, the first thing they do is switch on the lights because it is too dark inside to see anything unless they open the windows and draw the curtains. They do not even know it is raining until they step outside.
Here in my hometown, sunlight fills every corner of the house. We sit in our balconies and enjoy the rain.
Some of my cousins have never seen Holika Dahan. A few have never heard of Annakoot.
That is when I realized something simple: no one has everything. They have their own advantages, and I have mine.
I love metro cities. Delhi was my dream. Reaching it through sheer hard work gave me exposure, confidence, and the freedom to dream bigger.
But one thing is clear to me now.
We blame our luck easily.
But we are all lucky, just differently.

6,000+ views. 21 articles.
The journey began when someone said,
"There’s a platform called Youth Ki Awaaz. You must write on it."
So I began, not knowing where it would lead.
But there’s more to the story.
Since 2019, I have written only 21 articles.
Life happened. I paused. I even asked for some to be taken down.
But eventually, I found my way back.
Today, I discovered that those 21 articles have reached 6,269 views, with several featured on the homepage and one read by 3,500 people.
Thank you, Youth Ki Awaaz, for giving my awaaz a space.
Here’s to many more stories.
