I’m pleased to share that I have successfully completed my Research Internship at the International Institute of SDG's and Public Policy Research.
During this period, I had the opportunity to contribute to research examining a critical development question:
How does rural infrastructure shape gendered labour outcomes and time-use patterns in India?
Our work, “The Labour Paradox: Assessing Rural Gendered Infrastructure and Its Time-Use,” explores the gap between infrastructure expansion and women’s labour force participation, an issue central to inclusive growth and policy design.
This experience strengthened my foundation in policy research, gender economics, and evidence-based analysis, while also reinforcing the importance of context in development interventions.
Grateful for the guidance, mentorship, and collaborative learning throughout this journey.
What are your thoughts on why increased infrastructure doesn’t always translate into higher female workforce participation rather a "double burden"?

Grateful to have successfully completed the #Neeti Winter School on Public Policy & Good Governance organised by Think India.
The program offered valuable insights into governance, policymaking, leadership, and the challenges involved in building effective public institutions. Interacting with participants and experts from diverse backgrounds made the learning experience even more meaningful.
As someone deeply interested in public policy, political consulting, and governance, this journey has further strengthened my commitment to understanding how policy can create real impact on society.
Special thanks to Navaneeth Ganesh sir for his guidance in this whole program. Looking forward to learning, contributing, and growing further in this space.

📘 Public Policy, in theory and in practice.
Participated as a delegate in the Inaugural Session of the NEETI Winter School on Public Policy & Good Governance by Think India, where Prof. Manoj Tiwari (Director, Indian Institute of Management Mumbai ) unpacked the architecture of governance through a richly interdisciplinary lens.
The session traversed the nuances of public policy formulation and implementation, anchored in concrete governmental case studies such as the functioning of NHAI and the transformative vision of NEP 2020. It was a compelling reminder that policy is not merely normative text, but a dynamic interface between state capacity, institutions, and citizens.
From International Relations (IR) to Artificial Intelligence (AI), the discourse expanded to India’s foreign policy posture, its diplomatic role in a chaotic, multipolar world order, and evolving global trade dynamics—including Trump-era tariff regimes 🌍. The discussion also mapped emerging intersections from commerce to blockchain highlighting how technology is reshaping governance paradigms.
Equally valuable were reflections on career avenues in public policy, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary approaches that integrate economics, technology, global affairs, and public administration 🎓.
An intellectually stimulating beginning to the Winter School by Think India reinforcing why evidence-based policy and good governance remain central to India’s developmental trajectory.
📌 Looking forward to deeper engagements ahead.
