Engagement Over Time

SRCC was not my dream college.
Yes, I see many people saying that SRCC was their dream college, but then they end up in second-tier colleges.
I won't say that I didn't try. I even applied to IIMs.
My expectations were based on a growth chart from standard 1 to standard 12, where everything seemed proportionate.
So, how could I expect such a big hike? Wouldn't that be disproportionate?
When I got into DSC, I didn't rant at all. I was ready to grow in the same proportions.
Keeping excessively high expectations can hinder your growth.
At least I landed in a college where I could find equal competition and students of the same caliber.
I had a fair chance to seize opportunities.
Extravagant expectations always lead to disappointment.

Dear Delhi University,
Congratulations for taking some major steps like parent-teacher meetings and detaining 1,343 students for the betterment of their future.
Every student at DU is well aware of how cautious the university is for us. Right?
But what about the times when:
• We’re forced to come to college in such scorching heat just to put a signature on our IA and CA marks.
• We’re forced to travel two hours just to submit an assignment.
• We’re asked to get our attendance marked and leave.
• We’re informed that the class has been cancelled while we have already travelled halfway.
• We’re lured into attending events by offering attendance as bait.
• We had to sit in a class from 1–5 just to submit two pages of a written test.
Who gave authorities the right to conduct their department meetings when there is a class scheduled at that time and students are waiting in the classroom?
It has become really frustrating, especially when a student has to sacrifice his precious time over such nonsense.
Who on earth will come to college under these circumstances?
So before conducting a meeting with our parents, better conduct a meeting with professors.

‘Kitni boring life hai teri’
I’m used to hearing this a lot.
Wondering why?
Read this.
2023 is about to end,
and I’m still not able to relate to Gen Zs.
Wait, before you’re offended.
Here are my reasons:
—> From friendships to relationships, they take everything casually.
—> They’re bored easily; they don’t stick to things for longer.
—> They want variety in everything. I mean, bro, tumhe sab kuchh kyun try karna hai?
—> You’re considered boring if:
- Partying is not your thing.
- You have a spiritual mindset.
- Your definition of FUN is a bit different.
—> Simplicity is outdated.
—> Come on, delulu is not the solulu.
—> Be aware of every dumb thing, or you’ll be treated as an alien.
—> Numbers matter in EVERYTHING.
Well, there are more things on my list, and I don’t know if you agree with me or not.
But,
Being a Gen Z, I don’t fit into Gen Zs. ☯️
PS. FOMO to reh hi gaya. xD
Thanks for reading!
