I'm still figuring this out. But some things I've learned along the way have actually worked - and I think they're worth sharing. I've spent the last few years working across brands in Solar, Tech, FMCG, Events, SaaS, PR, Retail and Astrology. Not because I had a plan - but because each one taught me something the previous one couldn't. What I kept noticing was the same pattern in very different rooms: 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗱. And brands with ordinary products that somehow made people feel something. The difference was never budget. It was almost always clarity. I don't have a complete answer for why some brands connect and others don't. But I've collected enough data points - real ones, from real campaigns - to know where to look. I'm an MBA in Strategic Marketing and HR - which means I think about brands and the people inside them at the same time. That combination keeps showing up as useful. The Coca-Cola Company - Cola hadn't grown in the US market in over #10years. Not for lack of trying. Not for lack of budget - they spend $4 billion per year on advertising. Then in 2011, an Australian agency suggested something simple: Put people's names on the cans. What is the greatest advice you have received in life? I've been fortunate to glean wisdom from various resources around me but wasn't sure about if those are meant for me. Recently, while immersing myself in the intricacies of business operations, a startup CEO shared her favourite one : "Always prioritize being there for yourself, regardless of life's twists and turns." This emphasis on self-investment struck a chord within me, highlighting the importance of nurturing one's own well-being amidst the demands of entrepreneurship. Life's journey varies for each individual, as every person possesses unique experiences and perspectives. However, amidst the hustle and pursuit of success, certain fundamental truths remain constant, guiding us on our path to growth and achievement.
