1. I've had to pretend that I wasn't sweating during a stressful procedure.
2. I've had blood and saliva splash on my forehead...and just casually wiped it away like it's no big deal.
3. I've done a whole appointment with a hair stuck in my mask and suffered in silence.
4. I still get nervous before certain procedures, even though I've done them many times.
5. I've finished a tough procedure and mentally high-fived myself for pulling it off.
6. I've internally celebrated when a difficult case was cancelled because I wasn't mentally ready.
7. I've smiled and nodded when a patient gives wild home remedy advice, just to keep the peace.
8. I love it when the patient has a good mouth opening.
9. I've taken an X-ray just to admire my own work and triple-checked that it's perfect.
10. I remind patients to replace their toothbrush every 3 months... and sometimes forget to replace mine.

I had big dreams about Dubai.
But when I started talking to people, most of what I heard was discouraging.
“Don’t come here if you already have a good practice in India.”
“There’s too much saturation.”
“It’s not worth the struggle.”
At first, it shook me.
But then I realized every place has its own challenges.
And every dream has its own price.
If I let others’ fears decide for me, I will always wonder what if.
Sometimes, it’s not about easy markets or guaranteed success; it’s about chasing the life you see for yourself, even if it means proving people wrong along the way.
Because saturation exists everywhere.
But so do opportunities for those willing to create them.
I don’t know what the future in Dubai holds for me.
But I do know this, I would rather try and fail, than sit back years later wondering what if I had tried.

I turned 28 yesterday.
And it quietly reminded me of how things change with time and how beautifully they do.
In my early 20s, birthdays were about noise.
Group photos, cake smashes, late-night plans, back-to-back calls, and a strong need to do something big.
But now?
It’s a little different.
More bank notifications than actual messages (still grateful for the auto-wishes ).
No countdowns, no drama.
Just a peaceful dinner with the people who matter.
No flashy gifts ,just time.
Time with family. Time with close friends. Time for yourself.
At 28, you realise the value of presence over presents.
You stop chasing loud moments and start appreciating the quiet ones.
A calm mind, a warm meal, a familiar laugh, short nap after lunch and a heart that’s full.❤️
Here’s to growing older, growing inward, and growing better!
