My research tenure at the Parliamentary Affairs of his office just ended.
So did Raghav Chadha’s tenure with AAP.
The timing? Honestly, it feels almost cinematic. :)
Everyone keeps asking me: "What’s it like to be in the thick of a transition like that?"
From the outside, we romanticize these rooms as spaces of perfect structure, scripted brilliance, and people who always have a roadmap.
But the inside? It’s far more human.
It’s messy, it’s real-time, and it’s completely unscripted.
Over these 3 months, I learned that no one is sitting there with flawless answers, they’re just faster at asking sharper questions
You see how, Change is constant, and the most valuable skill is staying calm, listening closely, and speaking up even when you’re not 100% sure.
When the noise outside is deafening, the work inside has to be quiet, focused, and grounded in real constraints, not polished narratives.
One more thing I have realised is how, No one has the answers.
Even at this level, there is no manual. It’s all rapid-fire iteration.
The "smartest" people aren't the ones with the answers,
they are the ones who ask the right questions, faster.
As a child, I used to think these rooms were off-limits, that you needed an exclusive invite or a perfect blueprint to step inside.
Turns out, you just need to show up and be willing to figure it out in the dark.
One application, one "let’s just try" moment, and suddenly the room feels a lot smaller.
Onto the next chapter!🩷
