I earned 𝐈𝐍𝐑 𝟗𝟗,𝟑𝟎𝟎 in college!!
Here’s the breakdown:
- ₹50,000: From my internships
- ₹25,000: Through case study and B-plan competitions
- ₹5,000: From doing reviews and earned 1k as a campus ambassador (ehh yes)
- ₹9,000: From treasure hunts, reel making, poster making and dance competitions
- ₹7,000: Freelancing by writing papers and assignments for UG and PG students
- ₹3,300: Through my 2 LinkedIn collabs
and it all comes down to one thing in the end
- 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟
I never ran behind the money instead I was always keen to learn something.
I was chasing skills, growth, and experience!
and always been that person who wants to give her best.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝:
🫧 Try to say yes to every opportunity—even if it seems small at first. (That can lead you to something unexpected all together)
🫧 Trust me you can achieve a lot if you prioritize and manage your time, whether it’s work, studies, or personal life.
Also, I'm not bragging but I'm proud of the fact that I've earned around 40k more than my total college fees :)
PS:- Tried my best to make it a 6 figure but damn to those 700 rupees.
I Turned Down an Offer letter from EY!!
In the beginning of my final year, I turned it down
It was one of those moments where you’re excited, proud, but also incredibly torn.
I mean, who wouldn’t want to work with one of the Big Four, right?
But here’s why I said no:
👉 𝐃𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞:
The internship was of more than 2 months, which conflicted with my packed schedule of projects, classes, and upcoming college elections (I stood for president and won later).
👉 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐚𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝:
While experience is valuable but I had other paid offers at that moment, Thus I chose to spend more time learning, experimenting, and growing while earning a decent amount.
👉𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 > 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬:
In college, I encountered some moments that made me realize that impact mattered more than just a brand name on my resume.
Rejecting such a big offer wasn’t easy, but looking back, it allowed me to create opportunities that were more in line with who I am and where I see myself going now.
The bottom line calculated risk often pays off in the long run, always make a pros and cons list (big help)
PS: Have you been through something similar?
Happy Independence day?????
- Her dad found her naked.
- Lying motionless on the floor with a broken pelvic girdle, disfigured limbs.
- Her glasses broke, leading to the glass going into her eyes, bleeding incessantly.
- Her plight in those final minutes is unimaginable.
- Her parents were denied any contact with her dead body for 3 hours after they reached the crime scene.
- The reports suggest more than one man could have been involved in the sexual assault.
- 150 gm of semen was found in her body, one man can only have 15 gm.
- As per her family, she had no clothes on her body, her legs were 90 degrees apart.
- The suspect was an NSFW addict as the content on his phone proved.
At this point, it's not just a doctor issue anymore; it's just inhumane. We keep unlocking lower levels of inhumanity year after year.
Fools were us who even hoped there would be reforms after the Nirbhaya case. It's been 12 years. Nothing has changed.
What an irony to be deemed Nirbhaya after death when you live every day in fear. Worse even, that instead of remembering your name, they are labelling you Nirbhaya 2, as if it's a sequel of a movie that you knew would have consequent parts.
What does ignorance look like you ask? It looks a lot like getting out of your burning home right when it's about to topple off, and completely forgetting in the process that you saw the flames growing everyday and still did nothing.
It's not a crime to be a doctor in this country; IT'S A CRIME TO HOPE FOR WOMEN IN THIS COUNTRY.
As we raise our flags high and sing the national anthem, we need to ask ourselves what this freedom truly means. We live in a country where justice for women remains elusive, where their safety is continually compromised, and where every day brings news of yet another unspeakable atrocity.
Our fight for freedom is far from over. Until every woman can walk this land without fear, until every crime is met with the justice it demands. We owe it to the countless women who have suffered, to keep fighting for a country where freedom truly belongs to all (v hard to believe but yes)
And let me be clear—there can never be enough posts or protests for this. We must refuse to let this be a fleeting moment of outrage.
‼️Let’s not make it only a week of uproar but remain relentless until justice is served.
