𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐭 TVS Credit Services Ltd. As my summer internship at TVS Credit Services Limited comes to an end, I wanted to share some valuable insights and experiences I've gained: ✅ 𝑬𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑵𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈: Engaging with cross-functional departments taught me the importance of open communication and how diverse ideas can enhance project outcomes. ✅ 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒍-𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔: Taking complete ownership of real-life projects provided a deeper understanding of the market dynamics and the stakes involved beyond what is taught in B-school. ✅ 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒔: My mentor, Archana, emphasized simplifying and refining work. I learned that clear and concise work helps minimize errors and misunderstandings, even when dependencies are involved. This internship has been an unforgettable experience. I owe much to my mentor Archana Singh for maximizing my exposure in these two months. Alumni support is invaluable, and I feel fortunate to have had my alumni, Pratik Samant and Nishant Kothari around me constantly. Their presence and guidance made me feel confident from day one. I am truly grateful to our Chief Marketing Officer, Charandeep Singh Chawla Sir, for trusting me, being there whenever I needed guidance, and ensuring I stayed on track with my project deliverables and outcomes. Stay tuned as I share more aspects of my summer internship ahead!! #SummerInternship #TVSCreditServices #Networking #MarketInsights #ProfessionalGrowth #BschoolExperience #TVSCredit #mba #TVSCS

🚨 [Important] Mid-Review Done? Good or Bad — Here's What to Do Next Whether your mid-review went great or didn’t go as planned — this is a critical point in your internship. It’s halftime. How you move forward from here can decide everything. Here’s what to focus on, depending on how it went 👇 ✅ If Your Mid-Review Went Well: Stay on course. Don’t slow down — now’s the time to double down on execution. Polish your final story early. Start drafting your final presentation now — structure your story while it’s still fresh. Keep sharing progress. Continue weekly updates. Stay visible, stay proactive. Don’t relax too soon. A good review isn’t a PPO yet. Keep adding value till Day 60. ⚠️ If Your Mid-Review Didn’t Go Well: Make a recovery plan — today. Even if progress has been low, draft a plan for the remaining 30 days and share it with your manager. Use a PPT — keep it simple but clear. Talk to former interns. They often know exactly what your manager values. Use their insights to rework your approach. Communicate genuine interest. Let your manager know you're invested — in the project and the organization. Sincere intent matters more than you think. Don’t bottle it up. Call a friend, senior, or mentor and vent. Reset your mindset. It helps more than you think. 🎯 Final Tips (For Everyone): Mid-review is not the end — it’s just halftime. Good or bad, what you do next matters more than what just happened. Take control of your story. You’ve still got time. If you need help, feel free to DM me. Always happy to share what I’ve learned.

🚨 Mid-Review Coming Up? Here’s How to Prepare the Right Way Your mid-review is a key milestone in your internship. It’s when your manager and key stakeholders assess your progress, evaluate your approach, and often start forming opinions about your PPO potential. A strong mid-review can set you up for success. A weak one — often caused by misalignment, unclear goals, or poor communication — can be hard to recover from. Here are some practical tips to help you present effectively and confidently: ✅ 1. Share your roadmap going forward. Make sure your deck clearly outlines how you plan to complete the project after the mid-review. Managers appreciate clarity and structured thinking. ✅ 2. Visualize your solution. If possible, include a simple wireframe, process flow, UI mockup, or even a 3D render to help your audience quickly grasp your idea. Visuals speak louder than bullet points. ✅ 3. Demonstrate ownership. Present your work with the mindset of being part of the organization. It reflects accountability and commitment, both of which leave a strong impression. ✅ 4. If you’re off-track, address it early. If you feel your approach hasn’t been fully aligned, have an honest conversation with your manager before the review. It's always better to realign than to cover up. ✅ 5. Be transparent. If progress has been slower than expected, communicate it honestly. Focus on what you've learned and how you're moving forward. Trust is built through honesty. ✅ 6. Align with your manager’s expectations. Ensure your problem statement, approach, and deliverables match what your manager is expecting. Misalignment is one of the most common reasons reviews go poorly. ✅ 7. Highlight early results. Even if you’ve only completed a small pilot or initial test, share those findings. Demonstrating progress — even early-stage — adds credibility. ✅ 8. Keep your presentation crisp. Stick to a clear flow: context → insights → solution → next steps. Avoid overloading your slides with too much information. Even if the first half of your internship didn’t go perfectly, a clear, honest, and forward-looking mid-review can still turn things around.
