🎓✨ Proud to share that I’ve successfully completed the 15-day Orientation Course organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). This course was not just a formality — it was a transformative experience that bridged academic learning with real-world application. Over the past two weeks, I gained valuable insights into: 🔹 Professional ethics and values 🔹 Effective communication and presentation skills 🔹 Time management and goal setting 🔹 Teamwork, leadership, and stress management 🔹 Corporate culture and personal branding Beyond the sessions and workshops, what truly made this journey special were the friendships forged, the diverse perspectives exchanged, and the memories created with like-minded aspirants who are all on the same path of becoming future Chartered Accountants. I extend my heartfelt thanks to ICAI, all the faculty members, coordinators, and my peers for making this course so engaging and impactful. The Orientation Course has laid a strong foundation not just for our careers, but also for the mindset and attitude required in the professional world. 💡 Every ending marks a new beginning — and this is just the start of a challenging yet rewarding journey ahead. #ICAI #OrientationCourse #CharteredAccountant #CAStudent #LifelongLearning #ProfessionalDevelopment #Networking #Gratitude #CAJourney CA Akansha Jain NEHA S GUPTA Shimpy Gera Mayank Singh Panwar CS Srishti Sharma CA Harjeet Singh Puri CA. 💡 Confused About Which ITR Form to File for FY 2025–26? Here’s a simplified and updated guide to help you pick the right Income Tax Return (ITR) form — minus the confusion, plus complete clarity. 📌 Choosing the correct ITR form is critical for accurate tax filing and smooth processing. Here’s a concise breakdown: 🔹 ITR-1 (Sahaj) – For salaried individuals with simple income ✔️ Resident (not NRI/RNOR) ✔️ Income: Salary/Pension, One House Property, Other Sources ✔️ Total income ≤ ₹50L, Agri income ≤ ₹5,000 ❌ Cannot be used by directors, unlisted shareholders, foreign income holders, etc. ------ 🔹 ITR-2 – For NRIs, Capital Gains, Partners (no business income) ✔️ Suitable for Individuals/HUFs with salary, multiple properties, capital gains ✔️ NRI, agricultural income > ₹5K, director in company ❌ Excludes business/professional income ------ 🔹 ITR-3 – For Business Owners, Freelancers, Professionals ✔️ Individuals/HUFs with business or professional income ✔️ Includes capital gains, directorship, unlisted shares, partnership income ✔️ Mandatory if not eligible for ITR-1, 2, or 4 ------ 🔹 ITR-4 (Sugam) – For Presumptive Income (44AD, 44ADA, 44AE) ✔️ Resident Individual/HUF/Firm (not LLP) ✔️ Income ≤ ₹50L from business, profession, or transport under presumptive scheme ❌ Not for directors, foreign income/assets, capital gains > ₹1.25L ------ 🔹 ITR-5 – For LLPs, Firms, AOPs, Societies, Trusts ✔️ For entities like LLPs, AOPs, BOIs, Societies ❌ Not applicable for individuals, HUFs, or trusts under Sec 139(4A/B/D) ------ 🔹 ITR-6 – For Companies (excluding those claiming exemption u/s 11) ------ 📍 Things to Watch Before Filing: • Carried forward losses? ❌ Avoid ITR-1/4 • ESOPs or Unlisted Shares? ❌ Avoid ITR-1/4 • Foreign income/assets? ✅ Go with ITR-2 or ITR-3 • Lottery or betting income? ❌ Avoid ITR-1/4 • Director or Partner? ✅ Use ITR-2 or ITR-3 • Opting for new tax regime? 📑 File Form 10-IEA (for ITR-3/4) ------ 💼 Filing the right ITR form not only ensures compliance but also protects you from future scrutiny. 🔁 Feel free to share this with your network — someone may need it. 🔢 How Long Will It Take to Double, Triple, or Quadruple Your Money? Forget complex formulas or financial jargon. Here’s a shortcut that made investing feel logical — all thanks to Day 9 of my ICAI Orientation Course, where CA AYUSH BHATIA Sir simplified it beautifully 👇 📌 The RULE OF 72 A simple rule to estimate how many years it takes to double your money at a fixed rate of return. ✅ Formula: 72 ÷ Annual Interest Rate (%) = Years to Double 🔹 Example: If your investment earns 9% per annum (compounded annually) 72 ÷ 9 = 8 years → Your money doubles in 8 years This rule ONLY works when interest is compounded annually — and that’s the key detail many miss! 🔁 Flip It Too! Want to double your money in 6 years? Just reverse it: 72 ÷ 6 = 12% So, you'd need an investment that gives 12% annual return. 📌 Beyond Doubling: AYUSH BHATIA Sir also introduced us to two powerful extensions: 🟢 Rule of 114 – To triple your money: 114 ÷ Interest Rate = Years to 3x 🟣 Rule of 144 – To quadruple your money: 144 ÷ Interest Rate = Years to 4x 🔍 Let’s say your return is 12% annually: Double: 72 ÷ 12 = 6 years Triple: 114 ÷ 12 = 9.5 years Quadruple: 144 ÷ 12 = 12 years 🧠 What’s the Takeaway? Understanding these rules helps you compare investments smartly, plan your goals better, and appreciate the real power of compounding. 📌 But remember: ➡ These are shortcuts, not exact figures. ➡ They assume fixed, annually compounded interest. 💡 “Wealth grows quietly — not by chance, but by compounding.” This one lesson from Orientation will stick with me for life. Grateful to CA AYUSH BHATIA Sir for making finance feel less like numbers and more like common sense 🙏 Anika Jain Aanshi Mittal Aastha Rana Kartik Goel Harsh Pratap Singh Shubhi Varshney Deepankar Yadav vanshika Gupta Nishi Sharma Manvi Jain Anshika Bhati Ashutosh Kumar Yadav Saloni Agarwal Shivam Kushwaha Mateen Shraddha Jaiswal ASIF RAZA Sanskar Sharma Sanjana Kumari Amit Kushwaha Anas Saifi Danish Rashid Sonali Kumari #RuleOf72 #RuleOf114 #RuleOf144 #CompoundingMagic #FinancialClarity #SmartInvesting #CAOrientation #AyushBhatiaSir #ICAI #FinanceSimplified #CompoundInterest #MoneyTips #CAStudentLife #LinkedInLearning
