But for CA students, this is a bit different. ❌ We are 1 out of 500. ✅ How ?? 🤔 Let's break it down with some stats: CA Foundation Passing Rate = 29.99% - If 100 students sit for the exam, - 30 aspirants will qualify for CA Intermediate. 🎉 CA Intermediate Passing Rate = 9.73% - If those 30 plus 5 direct entry/re-appearing students sit for the exam (total 35), - Only 3 students will qualify for CA Final. 💼 CA Final Passing Rate = 9.42% - Out of those 3 plus 2 re-appearing students (total 5), - Only 0.471 will become Chartered Accountants. 🎓🥳 Let’s round it off and consider that out of 100 students aspiring to become CAs, only 0.5 students actually achieve it. 🏆🌟 Thus, there is only a 0.5% chance of becoming a Chartered Accountant. 😯 Now, using the unitary method: - If out of 100, only 0.5 become CAs, - How many CAs out of 100,000 ? → 0.5/100 = x/100,000 → x = (100,000 × 0.5) / 100 → x = 500 Therefore, out of 100,000 people, only 500 will become Chartered Accountants. 🤦🏻‍♂️ That's why you are 1 out of 500! 😃 I invite you to share your thoughts on this analysis. 😄 See you in the comments! 💬 Your buddy, KARAN KUSHWAHA. 🤝🏻 P.S. – All data is based on the ICAI press release for CA Exams of Nov-Dec 2023. Exciting News Alert! 🎉 I am thrilled to announce that I've successfully completed the CA Intermediate Income Tax syllabus! 📚 . Kya matlab 50 marks confirm !! 😅 . This might seem like a routine accomplishment to some of you, but to me, it signifies a significant milestone in my journey. 📈 During my CA Foundation preparation, I faced numerous challenges, including struggling to complete syllabus before exams. Despite my best intentions, procrastination, lack of sleep, and moments of carelessness were the reasons. 😔 Fast forward to CA Intermediate, and I'm proud to say that I've overcome these obstacles. 😃 This time around, I cleared a part of the syllabus on time without any backlog in Taxation. It may seem like a small achievement to some, but for me, it's a ignition to my growth of becoming professional one. 💼 🌟 How's your preparation going?
