[Please Look at Pinned Comment: This post is before the investigation and the truth came out to be a conspiracy from girl's side]
What happened outside our college shouldn’t have happened to anyone ever!
It happened right outside Lakshmibai College, Delhi, Delhi University when a 20-year-old second-year student, full of dreams and plans for her future, was on her way to an extra class when she was suddenly attacked with acid by a man who had been stalking her for over a year and a half.
Just imagine one ordinary Sunday morning turned into a nightmare.
She covered her face just in time, but still suffered burns on her hands. She’s now in the hospital, fighting through the pain with unbelievable courage.
What makes this even more heartbreaking is that we had been noticing and talking about harassment and suspicious incidents happening around the college for months.
The accused have been arrested, but the question remains why do things have to reach this point before anyone listens?
This isn’t just another news story. It’s a wake-up call.
For every student who’s ever felt unsafe walking to class.
For every girl who’s ever had to clutch her keys tight on a lonely street.
For every parent who worries until their daughter reaches home.
We can’t keep normalizing fear. We can’t stay silent.
Let’s demand safer streets, stronger campus security, and real accountability.
Because until women can walk freely without fear, we can’t call ourselves a truly progressive society.
Justice for the Lakshmibai College student. Stop Acid Attacks. Stop Stalking. Stop Violence Against Women.
#StaySafe
From cow dung to cool classrooms—only in DU✨️
Being a student of Lakshmibai College, I’ve seen a lot... but nothing prepared me for walking into a classroom and finding cow dung on the walls. Yes, it’s real. No, it’s not a prank.
Our Principal, Dr. Pratyush Vatsala , went old-school—literally—to beat the Delhi heat using traditional Indian knowledge. Cow dung, known for its cooling properties, was applied to one classroom as part of a research initiative. Sounds wild? Maybe. But it’s sustainable, chemical-free, and definitely desi.
While some folks on the internet are busy cracking jokes and making reels, here’s a thought: maybe not every “different” idea deserves mockery. Sometimes, solutions don’t come in fancy packaging—they come straight from the soil (and sometimes, the cow shed😛).
Not saying we all want dung-washed walls in every block—but I love being part of a college that dares to try something different.

It’s LinkedIn, not LinkUp!
DM expectations: “Let’s collaborate!” “Exciting opportunity!”
DM reality:
“Kya kar rahe ho?”
“Can we more chit chat on WhatsApp?”
“???” after one day of silence.
Why is this man sending me his WhatsApp number like it’s a job offer?😂
