Engagement Over Time
Visualization of how my engagement on posts has evolved
If you’re in 2nd or 3rd year, this is your reminder to start now.
(Not in the final year. Not “when placements start.” Not “when you feel ready.”)
I’ve seen it happen — and I’ve been there too.
We tell ourselves:
🗣️ “I’ll start DSA when placements are near.”
🗣️ “I’ll build projects when I need them for my resume.”
🗣️ “I’ll participate in hackathons later… I have time.”
But the truth is: time flies.
One day you’re attending orientation.
Next day you’re panicking before your first interview.
What should you do now?
✅ 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐃𝐒𝐀. 1 problem a day. You don’t need to be a LeetCode legend overnight.
✅ 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠. A to-do app, a weather dashboard, anything. Start small.
✅ 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞. Not when you need it — but so you can grow it with time.
✅ 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐬.You’ll learn more in 48 hours than in 3 weeks of lectures.
✅ 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞. Backend, frontend, DevOps, design, AI — anything that sparks your curiosity.
Your semester exams are part of college.
But your growth outside class decides your placement.
You don’t need to do everything today.
But you do need to start something.
📌 Because placements won’t wait for you to “feel ready.”
You prepare today, so when the time comes — you’re already ahead.

If you’re a fresher — most rejections happen at this one stage
.
.
👉🏻 The DSA round.
And I’ve been there—Losing offers from Philips, Google, Infineon, Whatfix and multiple MNCs all because of DSA💔
📌 It took me months of consistent effort to realize that DSA isn’t about solving random problems. It’s about cracking recurring patterns.
Here are a few that changed the game for me:
✅ Sliding Window & Two Pointers
✅ Binary Search + Greedy + Sorting
✅ Stack problems (NGE, Valid Parentheses)
✅ Linked List (Slow/Fast Pointers)
✅ Trees & Graphs (DFS, BFS, Dijkstra) + DP (Knapsack, Subset Sum)
But let me tell you, understanding the concept & deciding which pattern to use wasn’t easy. That’s why I had to endure rejections & waste time building logic💯
You can build your DSA logic without going through rejections or wasting time with the help of this FREE MentorAI Chrome extension → https://lnkd.in/gvnfhXRR
From helping you identify the pattern to guiding you step-by-step as you code, it will be your 24/7 virtual companion. You can even practice AI-driven interviews and 2x your shortlisting chances!🚀

My first internship was with G.E. Digital!✌🏻
I almost FAILED the interview, here is my experience👇
✅ Round 1 – DSA Challenge: I faced 2 medium-to-hard level problems:
🔹 Given N ranges, merge overlapping ones only if their combined length stays below K.
🔹 Given a string, sort characters by frequency descending.
✅ Round 2 – Technical Interview:
🔹 DSA Focus: I was asked to implement a stack supporting getMinimum() in O(1)
🔹 Core CS and project discussion: I was questioned on DBMS (Normalization, Indexes), OOPS (Polymorphism vs Overriding) and my Android app project.
✅ Round 3 – Tech + Managerial:
🔹 We discussed System Design topics like memory allocation & there were behavioural questions.
🔹 DSA Task: Given an array of stock prices, compute max profit with at most two transactions.
This interview tested a lot of things, my core logic first. It was really difficult to get by but today, you don’t have to face this struggle.
💡 You can test your logic in 20 minutes with this FREE Leeco AI before your interview → https://lnkd.in/gA2VRrga
How? This AI has an Interview Mode, which is like having a senior SDE conducting your interview:
→ Asks you why you’re using a certain pattern and pushing you to think better
→ Flags your brute force traps and checks if you considered edge cases
→ All of this under pressure so you can be 100% prepared before your next interview✨
These questions are the modifications to the exact questions asked.
It’s great for simulating real interviews and strengthening core logic, download it for FREE here → https://lnkd.in/gA2VRrga
