💙 My Flipkart Interview Experience (SDE-1, On-Campus) 💙 The Interview process had 3 rounds: 🔹Round 1 : DSA Coding A quick introduction followed by 2 problems in 1 hour: 1) Medium-level stack problem / monotonic stack. 2) Dynamic programming problem involving optimization over choices. 🔹 Round 2 : DSA Coding Again, a short intro and 2 problems in 1 hour: 1) A heap-based problem focused on generating maximum combinations (medium-hard). 2) A binary search problem involving capacity/time constraints (medium). The interviewer appreciated my structured approach, and within 10 minutes of finishing Round 2, I was called for Round 3. 🔹 Round 3 : HM/HR Round Deep-dived into my projects especially in Operating Systems and Distributed Systems. The discussion wasn’t just surface-level, it touched on: • Why I made certain design choices. • How I handled concurrency, scaling, and fault tolerance. • Trade-offs between different architectures. • We wrapped up with some general HR questions about my work style, teamwork, and motivations. Finally…..I made it!! 🎉 What I took away from this journey 💫: Getting into a role like SDE-1 at a top company isn’t just about writing code, it’s about problem-solving under pressure, explaining your thought process clearly and showing that you can adapt when things get tricky. Every mock interview, every late-night practice session, every “wrong answer” I encountered along the way, all of it was building me for this moment. So, if you’re preparing, remember: your hard work is compounding. The result might feel far, but it’s getting closer with every problem you solve. 🌟 Keep believing in yourself.
