The Akash Air defence system - India’s own, mid-range surface-to-air missile (SAM) system. Proving to the world that India is no less, and paving its way towards a self-reliant nation. Intercepted threats that could’ve cost thousands of lives. It could’ve been me, you or anyone. But none of this happened overnight. And, it wouldn’t have existed without one man’s bold vision. 👉 Manohar Parrikar sir. A visionary. A nation-builder. As India’s Defence Minister (2014-2017), he:  - Initiated talks with Russia for the S-400, - kept media out, low-key, and focused — just results,  - pushed for Made-in-India tech like Akash Air Defence, - Fast-tracked the modernisation of India’s defence grid. Many countries opposed it. The US threatened sanctions. Parrikar sir’s firm response — India’s security won’t wait. He’ll be smiling from the heavens today. Even S. Jaishankar sir (Foreign Secretary from 2015–2018, now External Affairs Minister), strategically handled sensitive diplomacy with the US and Russia, navigating through global pressure, and sustaining the momentum. 4 years of adventure, laughter, and learning – officially in the books! 🎓 I'm super stoked to complete my graduation from Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT-A)! These years have been so much more than just classrooms and exams—they've been about shaping myself as a better problem solver and human being, friendships that turned into family, sleepless nights (some productive, some just fun), and memories I'll cherish forever. The biggest leverage I had as a college student was the freedom to fail at whatever I wanted to try without worrying about what would happen, which brings into light the true purpose of a college. Every moment has left its mark, from pulling off college fests and tackling projects to roller coaster rides of exam sessions and placements. This campus has been more than a place—it's been an ecosystem of growth, chaos, and joy. I'm thankful to my parents, friends, professors and everyone associated with me in this beautiful yet rigorous engineering journey. As I step into a new chapter, there's a mix of excitement, nostalgia, and the "what's next?" thrill. Change is inevitable, and this particular transition gives me a shiver. India is set to witness the largest human congregation in the world, Mahakumbh 2025. From January 13 to February 26, 2025, Prayagraj will see a footfall of 40 crore devotees (more than the population of the USA). A vibrant celebration of spirituality, unity, and heritage. The Kumbh Cycle: Ardh Kumbh (every 6 years), Kumbh (every 12 years), Mahakumbh(every 144 years). In our lifetime, we won't be able to witness Mahakumbh again. The origins of the Kumbh Mela trace back thousands of years to the story of Samudra Manthan, the churning of the ocean by Devas (gods) and Asuras (demons). A pot (Kumbh) of Amrit emerged from this celestial event, the nectar of immortality. To protect it, Lord Vishnu, in the guise of Mohini, carried the pot, and a few drops of nectar fell at four places: Prayagraj, Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik, making them holy sites for the Kumbh Mela. The holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers meet, is believed to purify the soul and wash away sins. A workforce of 10 lakh people will ensure smooth operations for these 45 days, thus creating massive employment opportunities. Industries like hospitality, transportation, retail and local businesses thrive as they cater to millions of visitors, thus creating revenue of Rs 2 lakh crore.
