“I will take a nap during the post-lunch session.” That was my slot at ProjSutr 2025. Right after lunch, when energy dips, attention drifts, and most audiences politely survive the next 30 minutes. But this time, something different happened — the room started buzzing with ideas and energy! (just look at the happy faces) My session at ProjSutr25, “Strategy in Action: From Project Plans to Business Wins” turned into a lively exchange of ideas, questions, and real-world stories about how project professionals can connect what they deliver to what the business actually needs. We didn’t just talk about strategy, we translated it into action using the Project-to-Strategy Canvas by Global Talent Development Solutions LLC. People debated. They mapped. They challenged assumptions. And by the end, the same audience that walked in fighting drowsiness walked out with frameworks, clarity, and a few “aha” moments about aligning projects with business outcomes. I’m honoured to share that I have been elected as Vice President – Governance & Policy, PMI - North India Chapter, in the chapter board elections of 2025. Thank you to the Chapter members and the Nominations Committee for the trust and confidence. Grateful to begin 2026 with a new responsibility and a renewed sense of purpose. As I step into this role, I can’t help but reflect on 2025—a year that tested resilience across industries, teams, and individuals. It was a year of change, recalibration, and learning. And yet, here we are—stronger, wiser, and still moving forward. That itself is worth acknowledging and celebrating Hosting the PMI North India Chapter 2025 AGM was a powerful reminder of what community, volunteer leadership, and shared purpose can achieve. Seeing so many committed professionals come together to reflect, close one chapter, and confidently open the next was truly energising. As we begin a new year, I look forward to contributing to strong governance, clarity in policies, and sustainable growth, so our volunteers and members can focus on what matters most—creating value and advancing the project management profession.
