Went on my first solo international trip✅️
Was it a checklist tick moment? Absolutely!
Was I nervous? Yes!
Did I learn something? Yes!
✨️If you're someone who's planning to go on a trip solo, make sure you know these things, and no they are not lessons!✨️
-> You will feel alone, but being alone isn't equal to being lonely if you enjoy your company. Take books, explore places, take tours!
-> You'll experience a whole different side to you! Trust me, when people used to tell me, solo trips changed them, I didn't believe it. But now, yes, I agree, they change you drastically.
-> Making friends isn't tough! I thought I'll be awkward, turns out I made a whole new group of friends everywhere I went. The hotel, the tour, the event and the city. People are sweet, and when you experience that, you'll love the world a little more.
-> Save as much money as you can!! No, don't be cheap, but don't spend too much. You might have the currency to use, and splurge, but don't spend it all. Most unexpected costs might come, and you'll face difficulties if you don't prepare in advance.
-> DON'T eat at spots near the attraction- The attractions would be amazing, but the eating spots would be the most expensive.
Better idea-> Enjoy the attractions, eat a few blocks from it.
Super grateful to have checked this milestone and glad to share these tips with you all!:)
