In the last 2 months,
I’ve audited 17 LinkedIn profiles for FREE.
And here’s the most common problem I keep seeing:
It’s not a lack of experience.
It’s not the content ideas either.
It’s this:
They’re unsure how to write FROM their lived experience.
Writing generic advice → easy to share.
Writing from lived experience → easy to trust.
More trust = more $$$ opportunities.
Here are 5 ways to start creating posts that come straight from your own journey that makes people say:
“YES, I trust this person.”
1. Start with something you’ve actually done
Not “10 tips for LinkedIn growth”
Instead:
“When I started posting, I thought I had to sound smart. Turns out, I didn’t.”
Use your own story — that’s what makes it real.
2. Use first-person language
“I struggled with…”
“I realised that…”
This brings people into your journey, not a lecture.
3. Use real context
When did this happen?
What were you trying to do?
What was the challenge?
4. Talk about what changed
What clicked?
What decision did you make?
Help the reader see your turning point — and theirs.
5. Show small wins
Skip the brag.
Simple lines like “I used to get 200 impressions, now it’s 2,000” are more powerful than inflated screenshots.
This is how you write from lived experience.
It’s simple. It’s human. It’s already in you.
You just need to start documenting.

How to add "power" to what you write
(even if what you're saying is generic)
I call it "re-hook" method:
1. Hook:
Write a statement most people agree with
"LinkedIn is the best business platform"
2. Challenge that hook:
Share a surprising opinion
"But it's the worst platform to sell your products"
(this is where the human brain is at PEAK interest)
3. Explain the above in 1-2 sentences max.
"Everyone is ready to listen. Just not ready to buy."
(this is where the human interest is justified)
4. Then, jump into the explanation of your steps
"Here's 3 ways to make your audience listen to you..."
5. End with power statement = fully justify the re-hook
"Ready to sell? Got to make them willing to listen first".
Bold Hook = Higher engagement ALWAYS.

The truth about social media marketing?✅
It ain't pretty.
It takes time.
It's expensive.
It's hard to measure ROI.
But, there's a reason why every Fortune 500 company uses it.
Because it works.
Here's the truth:
1. Social media is not a short term play.
2. It's not about likes, views or followers.
3. It's about building an engaged audience and generate leads.
But, don't be fooled.
There's no magic formula.
There's no silver bullet.
What works for me, might not work for you.
What works for you, might not work for your neighbour.
So, find your way.
Create your own path.
And make it work for you.
