I am thrilled🚀🚀🚀 to share that I have successfully completed my Aerospace internship at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras , where I had the incredible opportunity to work on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Throughout this internship, I focused on airfoil design and analysis using advanced tools such as XFOIL, ANSYS, and OpenFOAM. Additionally, I worked on the actuator disk model, virtual blade model, blade element momentum theory, and applied machine learning techniques in aerospace, such as path planning. This experience has not only deepened my understanding of aerodynamics and UAV technology but also provided me with hands-on skills that are invaluable in the aerospace field. A big thank you to my mentor, Prof. Ranjith Mohan from the Department of Aerospace , and the amazing team at IIT Madras for their guidance and support. I am excited to apply what I've learned to future projects and continue exploring the fascinating world of aerospace engineering. I am grateful for the opportunity to have learned and grown in such a stimulating and supportive environment. This internship has solidified my passion for aerospace engineering and inspired me to further pursue advancements in UAV technology and machine learning applications. From developing sophisticated algorithms to solving real-world problems, this internship was a game-changer. The experience broadened my understanding of ML applications, especially in the Aerospace domain, where I aim to blend my dual passions for AI and engineering. 🚀 Google GEN AI STUDY JAM To top it all off, I participated in Google’s Gen AI Study Jam, where I explored the latest advancements in generative AI. Earning a certificate and receiving exclusive Google goodies was the cherry on top of an already fulfilling summer. This experience has sparked new ideas on how AI can revolutionize the Aerospace industry, and I’m eager to explore these concepts further.
