✨ Day 1 of WOW 2025 – Pune, hosted by GDGoC at MIT-WPU, (GDG Pune, GDG MIT-WPU GDGoC Pune) and I must say — it was a day packed with innovation, learning, and inspiration! 🚀 Hosted by Google Developer Groups of Cloud (GDGoC), the event brought together some of the most brilliant minds in tech, delivering powerful sessions that were both insightful and deeply motivating. The agenda featured a stellar lineup of speakers, each offering deep dives into current and emerging technologies: 🔹 Nikita Gandhi kicked off the event with a powerful session on building for the next billion developers — and closed it with a heartwarming panel on tech communities that made me rethink the why behind what we build. Her words, “What will it take to do X?”, will stay with me. 🔹Aditya Shende gave a dynamic overview of ethical hacking in his talk “Making Dollars in Bug Bounties”. Learning how the cybersecurity world really works was fascinating! 🔹 Vaibhav Malpani took us on a deep dive into Google AI Studio, revealing real-world applications of generative AI and its transformative potential. 🔹 Mangesh Dabaki showcased how AI is seamlessly becoming part of our everyday lives, making cutting-edge technology more accessible to all. 🔹 Rishi Gandhi shared a comprehensive guide to solo app development, covering ideation, building 🔹 Saurabh Mishra unraveled the complexities of GenAI, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud, offering a clear roadmap for scaling modern applications. 🔹Panel with Nikita Gandhi, Vatsal Jain, Rahul Shivalkar Emphasized the power of community in tech. 🔹It was amazing to finally hear the Shridhar Mankar “5 Minutes Engineering” legend live! His words were pure motivation for anyone looking to push their limits. 🔹 Dhruva Modak took us through the fascinating world of reverse engineering old-school games, proving how legacy systems still offer so much to explore. 🔹 Suraj Kulkarni wrapped up the day with an excellent live demo on how to embed machine learning into Android apps — bridging AI and mobile dev like a pro. 🔹 A thought-provoking panel with Priyanka Salunke, Sharmilee Sarkar, and Tanisha Dusane tackled how to bridge the gap between theory and real-world tech. So many golden takeaways for students like me. And it wasn’t just about tech — the musical performances, interactive sessions, vibrant crowd, and exclusive WOW merch made the day unforgettable! 🎶🛍️ Also, WOW 2025 wasn’t just the amazing sessions — it was the incredible people I got to meet and connect with! Halfway Through 2025 – Reflections, Gratitude & Growth 🙌📈🎯🔧 As I look back on the first half of this year, I’m filled with gratitude for the people who’ve played a key role in shaping my path—through their advice, support, and quiet encouragement behind the scenes. 🔹Varun Srinivas 👨‍💻🧠 – Co-founder of Coditas, powerhouse of perspective and an amazing mentor. He taught me that most people know things only on the surface—but if I want to truly survive and grow in tech, I need to go deep. Also introduced me to the significance of asking: "What, When, and How." 🔹 Nilesh Shinde 💻 – Met him at Microsoft, and a conversation with him unlocked so much clarity in my development journey. His guidance helped me navigate complexities with confidence. 🔹Swar Jadhav 🛟 – My college senior, mentor, and the ultimate last-minute saviour. Whether it was guidance, support, or just showing up when it mattered—Swar always had my back. 🔹Ayush Panigrahi 📄 – Met him at AI Agentic Day 2025 in Mumbai, and his guidance helped me crack my ML internship. From analyzing my resume to optimizing it for impact, his support made a real difference. 🔹Talib Sayyed 🤝 – Helped me understand the true essence of networking. Not just about making connections, but nurturing them with intention 🔹 Jasmeen Shaikh 🚀 – A recent graduate and already a startup founder. Her drive pushed me to take initiative, build something of my own, and most importantly, think about how to turn ideas into real value. 🔹 Kushal Hange 💡 – A constant source of motivation and encouragement. Beyond that, he became a great friend—Someone who pushed me to keep moving forward when things felt uncertain. These past few months have been full of growth and learning. The road ahead is still long, but with such incredible people around, I’m more confident than ever. I’m incredibly thankful for the people who've walked parts of this journey with me.
