From a 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 to getting a job at Microsoft 🎯 I was born in a small village in Bihar, India 🇮🇳 I studied in Hindi Medium from my village's 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 school until 10th grade without electricity ⚡ I did 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 along with my study till the 10th class, After completing my 10th parents wanted me to continue farming and ask me to open a shop in the village (just for my safety concern) but somehow I convinced my parents to send me to Patna for higher studies. Got more than 7 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐬 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤 in AIEEE (aka JEE Mains) and yet I never even sat in an IIT because I was afraid of failing 😢. I tried to join the AirForce, Navy, Railways, and Banks 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐲 😞 I finally got admission into BCA through distance learning because no engineering college would 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐞 😕 I gave about 25 MCA exams and failed them all!🙌 Again, worked hard and secured AIR 4Th Rank in MCA IIT BHU and in the top 100 Ranks in all other exams 😎 Started my study in English for the first time in NIT Trichy which was not an easy task for me as I had never used English before that 😃. Got 6 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 in the first semester, 𝐋𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭 in the class. Failed in getting any internship. Microsoft was one of my 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 but not able to clear even its 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 of tests. From the first 15 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬, I was not able to clear even the first rounds of tests There was a 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 when I was so low that I wasn't even being considered for a job But instead of 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩, I decided to work harder than anyone else. I managed to get placed but that was the lowest package in my class 😶. It was hard to convince people to refer me to their companies, but they weren't sure whether they should because they thought I would be dumped, and their time would get wasted ⌚ I believe in myself studied harder and got a 6X 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐞 after my first Job switch. Then I kept studying hard and finally got into one of my dream companies-Microsoft 🙂 There was a time when people badly commented on my communication skills, on my accent, and kept telling me that I can’t do anything Instead of listening to this negative noise, I kept my focus on the goal, And now they don’t even believe that I am working at Microsoft. Just always remember “The world cannot defeat you until You accept the defeat” I wanted to share this with you because everyone gets the opportunity to change their entire life, it's just up to you whether you want to grasp it or waste it. From my own journey, I have learned that "You should Believe in your infinite potential. Your only limitations are those you set upon yourself, Anything possible in this world, you just have to believe in yourself". I got rejected by Google I got rejected by Amazon I got rejected by Nutanix I got rejected by Cohesity I got rejected by Salesforce I got rejected by Facebook I got rejected by Goldman Sachs I got rejected by Microsoft I was rejected by many companies, Including my dream job. What changed? Who changed? The answer was right in front of me. I changed. ⚡ I worked on Myself. ⚡ My knowledge. ⚡ My Communication skills. ⚡ My resume. ⚡ My interviewing skills. ⚡ My Connections.
