🚨 One week. And Bengaluru’s traffic has collapsed. Auto fares have doubled. Gig workers are jobless. And people are back to using their personal vehicles. All because of one major policy change: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝘅𝗶 𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟲. --- Let’s break this down, what happened, why it matters, and who’s paying the price. 👉🏻 What changed overnight? Bike taxis like Rapido and Uber Moto were banned citing safety and legal concerns. But the impact has been swift: 🚦 Traffic congestion is now worse than before 💸 Auto rickshaws are overcharging (Rs 250–300 for short routes) 🚫 Gig workers, especially women, have lost their income source 🛵 Some riders are illegally continuing operations by pretending to deliver parcels --- 👉🏻 What about the people behind the rides?
