Is a 4 LPA salary good to start? Don’t hate your corporate job, even if it pays you just 20K/30K per month. Many fresh graduates ask themselves, "Should I be happy or not?" I started my journey with an 8K salary, later joined Infosys with 3.2 LPA, and then moved to PubMatic and eventually Amazon. The key here is to get started in tech and seize that first opportunity. Many of us began with 3.5 LPA and eventually jumped to 50+ LPA within a few years. The best part about this industry is that it’s constantly growing, and opportunities will always be available. Seize the opportunity, develop your skills, and move forward to the next challenge. You just need the right attitude, the right skill set, and a hunger for learning. Before joining Amazon, here is my journey so far. 🍁 63/360 inn JEE Mains and Failed in IIT  🍁 I got back in C++ in second year. 🍁 Govt exam became dream only. 🍁 Did 0 internships. 🍁 GATE Exam - Failed 🍁 Got first call from the job starting with 8k and on last day they said the position was filled.🫠 🍁 Finally, Infosys gave me a chance and started building career in the frontendd domain. 🍁 After around 2 years, I started preparing for interview got 8+ offers and 20+ rejections. 🍁 Joined PubMatic and gained more experience and looking at market opportunity started with interview again. 🍁 This preparation time was difficult as I needed to prepare for LeetCode, system design, domain knowledge. 🍁 Again, I, got rejected in 30+ interviews including Google Apple and got offers from 5+ companies and landed finally on Amazon. applied for 700+ jobs 70+ interviews with 60% rejection asked for 1000+ referrals changed strategy multiple times.
