Agree and Disagree. Agree thats english is not a measure of intelligence or good performance. Few positions require to converse in English is required. Suppose there is a client meeting in US, english is needed, right. As english is the business language so basic writing and speaking in english is a must as per me. Well, if not spoken , writing will be required in almost all the jobs. BUT, rejecting a candidate on the basis of only communication can be avoided. THIS IS FOR ALL THE JOB SEEKERS. If you know you aren't good at english, start learning. If you are intelligent, hardworking and have positive attitude why to loose your chance of getting hired just because of english. If you are determined to learn , nothing is difficult. The Job market is so tight so there shouldn't be any gap which can lead to your rejection.
