It was my first proper offline corporate experience, and honestly, it made me question a lot before it helped me grow. I just completed my Summer Internship at ICICI Bank in the Retail Banking Group, studying the Healthcare Ecosystem specifically the banking needs of doctors, hospitals, and diagnostic centres. What made this project different was that it was rooted entirely in primary research. I was out in the field, having real conversations with real people, understanding firsthand what these centres need, what frustrates them, and what a bank can genuinely do to support them. My biggest takeaway? You can't plan a day perfectly in this line of work and that's not a flaw, that's the nature of client-facing roles. The ability to adapt, to approach each potential client differently, and to show up for unplanned requirements as they come that's the skill that no classroom fully teaches you. I'm grateful to ICICI Bank for trusting me with meaningful work, and to my mentor santosh singh for his consistent guidance throughout the project. And a big thank you to IMI Delhi for the opportunity; experiences like this one are where real growth happens. #Internship #ICICIBank #RetailBanking #HealthcareEcosystem #IMIDelhi #MBA #FirstExperience

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐢. 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, I took the first flight of my life. Flew to Mumbai for a 2-month internship. My first time staying away like this. Honestly? Everyone thought I was just excited that I'd be roaming around, chilling, earning, and spending. And yes, part of this was on my bucket list. But, at the bottom, I was nervous and a little scared, too. Taking that flight was extra special because I took it with my parents, even as it was their first flight too. 🥹 Landed in Mumbai, and within 2 hours went PG hunting. And there went all my high standards shattering right there. The way people live here is far different from what I had actually seen. When the PG was finally finalised, I was almost on the verge of crying. 3–4 drops fell. But no, I have to be a strong girl. 𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 "𝐃𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢 𝐃𝐢𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐨 𝐤𝐢 𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐢 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧," 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈'𝐦 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎𝐱 𝐃𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢 >>>> 𝐌𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐢. Getting up early, getting ready, preparing breakfast, lunch, going to the office, returning, endless friends & family calls, preparing dinner, trying to do some stuff. Literally every single day is packed. Never thought this pampered girl would be doing all of this. Never imagined. Then the internship started on the 7th IDK what I'm supposed to do, but as of now, I'm just wandering from place to place, getting myself properly equipped. Passing the time, talking to people. But at night, I saw a view of the outside from my room's window and I felt something. Yes, I had dreamed of this. Maybe it was delusional, maybe things happening were real and weren't what I had added to it. But I felt happy. And I don't know if it's safe to say a bit proud too, seeing those buildings sparkle. On Sunday I went for my first ever solo time literally wandering the European style streets of Powai, looking around and smiling. It was such a liberating feeling. Me at 22 happy, but still juggling a lot to survive here. I thought about what's happening, and maybe the thing is I didn't add reality to my dreams. But I was delusionally loud and will be. No idea how the reality would be. Different, always, every time. Bittersweet. Yet the happiest!! 🌆 Do share your stories. #Mumbai #Internship #FirstTimeLiving #GrowthDiaries #22AndFiguringItOut #MumbaiLife #SoloChapter

𝐓𝐄𝐃𝐱𝐈𝐌𝐈 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐢 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 Somewhere, we all grew up watching TEDx Talks for inspiration, motivation, and learning. Never really imagining that one day, we’d be part of creating one. 𝐓𝐄𝐃𝐱 𝐈𝐌𝐈 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐢 | 𝟏𝟏.𝟏𝟐.𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 became that moment for me. I got to experience TED not just as an audience member, but also as an organising team member. And believe me, it was a surreal experience one that has now turned into a lifetime memory. A big part of this was possible because the IMI Delhi - Executive Education Committee gave me the space, trust, and opportunity to be a part of something this meaningful. I’m truly grateful for that. Organising an event like TEDx IMI Delhi comes with its own set of challenges, hectic days, and endless to-do lists. But all of it, together, becomes a beautiful process where memories are created. For me, it was learning, it was fun, and most importantly, it was the people who made it worth every bit of effort. The theme: 𝐑𝐡𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. It reminded us how much of our daily life moves to invisible rhythms: assumptions we carry, routines we follow, and fears we don’t question. Through each talk, those illusions were gently challenged, helping us pause, reflect, and see our realities a little more clearly. Ayush Rajoriya showed us how passion alone can be powerful enough to define your journey. The way he lived and led his life was truly inspiring a reminder that when you follow what you love, happiness follows. James Joseph spoke about healthy eating and how something as simple as jackfruit can play a role in managing diabetes, reinforcing the value of mindful daily habits. Anubhav Shrivastava Shivastava reminded us of the importance of yoga, meditation, and pausing to reset our minds in today’s constant hustle. Never lose your creativity. Neeta Chaple shared a beautiful truth that life never ends when it comes to starting something new. Age is just a number, and passion can be pursued at any stage. Group Captain Ajay Menon spoke about resilience and the strength required to face life’s different situations, no matter the circumstances. Ankur Chandrakant highlighted how vigilance is essential in today’s environment, where hacking and digital threats have become so common, reminding us to stay aware and protected. What stood out to me most was how the entire lineup reflected on our everyday lives how small steps, small habits, and small changes, when backed by focus, will, and determination, can lead to big transformations. TEDx IMI Delhi was not just an event. It was an experience. One I’ll always carry with me.
