Last week was the most overwhelming week for me in years!
I had the opening ceremony of my brand new dental clinic on the 7th of August, Sunday.
I had my first festival after marriage, just yesterday.
My household was swamped with relatives and friends.
I was drowned to the bottom in all the preparation for the opening ceremony, not to mention the last-minute additions to the interior and dental equipment.
And as if on cue, I got two amazing opportunities in my writing career.
One of them is the membership of leap.club.
The other one? You'll know soon.😇
Both were inbound, despite being inactive on LinkedIn for a week.
The entire week was a game-changer for me.
At a certain point, I even doubted my ability to manage both the careers in future.
But, the same week also taught me some invaluable lessons.
🔥 When it comes to your business, not a single task should be left for later. Do it as soon as you can.
🔥Your business is literally YOUR business. Outsourcing the tasks to your family member, or your team is ok, but eliminate the dependency.
🔥If you are just starting your business, it's time to get your priorities rechecked.
🔥When it comes to business, presentation is equally important. Make yourself, and your workplace presentable.
🔥 Even if you are a woman entrepreneur, learn the basics of how the plumbing of your workplace is done, how the electrical connections are done, etc.
Your workplace is your playground. Be familiar with its every nook and corner.
🔥 While starting your own business, it's ok to be the plumber, the electrician, the sweeper, and the entrepreneur of your workplace, all at once.
Running the smallest errands for your own business is a blessing very few people have. Use it. 😇
These pictures are from the day of the opening ceremony.
The wide smile in the picture clearly shows how pumped up I am to start a new phase of my life, where I'll be working on my own, in both my careers! 😁😇
The feeling is surreal! 😇
PS- I recently did two things-
