Organising the DoraDAO GWY Conference was a next-level experience. 2.5 months of late-night meetings coordinating volunteers and ambassadors reaching out to sponsors inviting speakers connecting with community partners All for one big day! For the longest time, everything felt scattered. There were so many moving parts that it sometimes felt like we were just trying to keep things from falling apart. We were still running around buying swags 2 days before the event. The banners got printed just a day before. Everything was hectic. And then the conference day arrived. Not everything went smoothly. I made quite a few mistakes. But somewhere in the middle of all that chaos, it started feeling magical, like fireflies lighting up a dark evening. And honestly, this wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible speakers Nishita Setia, Tanishi Mookerjee, Kamna Bhardwaj, Aaira Kaurr 🫶, Bhawna Chauhan and Tanvi Gupta. Couldn't have asked for better speakers. These divas nailed it!!!!!! 🙌💖 Also also, a big round of applause👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 for these pookies, without whom the conference would have been impossible: SHIVAM Garg, Shivam Kumar, Nikhil Kumar Sharma, Ritika Sharma, Lotla Yamini, Shreya Sharma, Shagun Paharwa, Jeeya Agrawal, DJ Suryansh and Asmit prajapati. This was my 2nd event as an organiser, and I realised something important: ↳Things don’t have to be perfect. ↳They just need to match the vibe and energy of the people in the room. And it did.
