April 15, 2024 - I got my first ever internship, but now, I regret it. . . Exactly one year ago, I landed my first ever internship. > It was the day of Saturday, when the interview was held at their office, and the day of Monday - April 15, 2024, joining day! I was above cloud nine! My first ever internship. > But, it was in the field of sales - on field sales! We were supposed to go on field for sales from 11-5 > When my parents came to know that I was hired as an intern for the role of “on field sales”, They suggested that I either leave this internship or take some office work only! > I then took a leap of faith, Changed my role there from sales to social media marketing! And guess what? > When I changed my role, I was learning equal to nothing. I used to waste my first 45-60 mins in the office doing nothing! (as the sir used to be so busy, dealing with the members of office regarding sales) And have to leave that internship in between. But, after a year, I wondered - ~ “What if, I would have continued this role, I had learnt so much regarding sales?” ~ “Maybe, I should have given a shot to sales” ~ “What if I was made for ‘on field’ sales?” ~ “Maybe I was more confident now, only if I continued that internship” But i guess, That’s life! > No matter what you are doing right now, How you are doing a thing right now, You will always feel like doing the other thing you haven’t even tried!
